Lately I have been reading some possible problems with duping. Be aware that there is no real proof other than multiple items with the EXACT same stats being sold on the GAH. Make sure you look at the item before you purchase it from there and there is not another item beside it for the same price with the same stats.
Do not buy UNID rares at this point. The ability to ID an item is real (without IDing it) and with the compilations of code you can now tell exactly what stats it will have within a given range. It takes very little effort to make this work and if someone wants to scam you it would not be hard to do. I know this has been around since the game launched, but now the codes are out there for everyone and it will be easy for anyone to do.

ya.
i wouldn't be surprized if Blizz put this out themselves to push ppl to the AH.
I mean, buying Un ids keeps AH use lower right ?
i don't buy but, now I can't sell =(
I have to add to this......
I have had drops where 2 rares dropped and 2 Blues drop, and each set had the exact same stats.............. to the number and name!!
Only happened twice in about 400 hours of gameplay.
To clarify----- 2 Rares= Same name and stats
Seperate occasion, 2 Blues= Same name and stats.

You can have identical items when you buy them from in-game merchants.
Sometimes it appears they sell good blues or rares ; and you can find them thereafter on GAH or RMAH.
The reason I posted this is because there were 7 Xbows all with the exact same stats for the same bid amounts and they were all rare quality. That is a bit unusual.
