Yeah, had to look at my profile to figure out where the thread ended in.
They must think we're stupid or something.
The admins are obviously uncomfortable with this thread although they can't find a reason to lock or delete it. Easy solution is to bury it in an obscure subforum. Ah well.
Truth is, I was actually referring to Diablofans back in my post, and not that *other* site which I have originally forgotten. (I really should not name that one since everyone in this community hates it, but it's a big site.) It is also doing just as well as Diablofans. ie. We have killed this forum via inaction.
With the merger of all of the negative threads in GD, and this being moved, I retract the last statement in my post.
Yup, viewership/unique hits must have dropped to a critical level. Really drastic steps being taken now by the admins. I wonder whether there is any pressure from Blizzard to do this?
The Blizzard community has more tinfoil hats than I've seen elsewhere online.
Incgamers is a network. They aren't owned by Blizzard and they aren't even in the fansite program. This is moderation. There's a lot of threads about a lot of stuff that are treading the same territory over and over to the point where it's now just trolling, this thread included. Look where it was heading on page one already. This is nothing new.
As for the tone, yes, it has changed. Flux seems to have completely dropped his ridiculously cynical and bitter tone. Elly and Rush never had that. Xanth never had that, Nizaris keeps it in check. You're noticing that, basically, Flux has changed his attitude about the game. I would assume that's because he enjoys it.
I don't know what your motivation is for creating this thread but you seem agitated about or by something. This is a feedback thread and that's why it's in the feedback forum.
There has been no change in reporting on the news page there are still news items dealing with negative things and that will continue for as long as it's the situation.
The merging of a lot of the negative threads was because they were repetitive and were overrunning the forum. There are a number of additional negative threads in that forum too so you still have plenty to pick from. The merging has improved the flow of conversation in that forum which was why it was done in the first place.
I won't rise to the 'pressure from Blizzard' comment. I think Red has reiterated what you already knew anyway.
