Fiery Brimstone from Rares (iLvl 61+)

I had 27 brimstones in my pack before 1.03 hit, now I have 30. I haven't salvaged any legendaries, so it follows that I've gotten 3 brimstones from rares since 1.03 came out.

and how many (in rough estimate) yellows did you salvaged? i mean, whatīs the percentual chance to get FB from salvaging rare items?

what do you guys think about FB, will the value go up after the 1.0.4 (buffed legendaries) patch?

I'd guess maybe 3,000 rares.

I'd gotten 2 Brimstones pre-1.03 from around 600 blues/yellows salvaged. Currently have 1300 essences and still only 2 brimstones. My guess from my usual inventory before I salvage is that 1/4-1/3 (closer to 1/3 roughly? 275 mf) of the items are rare. So they really really dropped the chance.

If they actually do buff the legendaries substantially I think we can expect to see a serious spike in brimstones after 1.04, possibly to the point that they have to increase the brimstone drop rate from rares if they want anyone to craft ever again. After all, why salvage legendaries when you can sell it for millions? Especially in the first few weeks as people try to offload all the new legendaries.

yeah, now the price for FB is about 90k in EU, however the last day of trades often shows numbers like 260k.. I donīt get it... Iīm curious what the real settled value for FB after patch will be, bought 50 of them just in case hope the price wonīt get any lower...
