RULES (mostly stolen)

1. No talking about your role/game outside of this thread. That includes other threads, instant messages, PMs or carrier pigeons.

2. Do not post after day end. If you do I will mod kill you.

3. Do not edit your post I will kill you (This includes editing for spelling mistakes)

4. If your role allows you to communicate with others during the night, feel free to do so via the QuickTopic provvided. Only those roles expressly allowed to communicate privately with each other at night are allowed to. If you have any questions, contact me privately.

5. Do not post in the game thread once you are dead. Dead people may discuss stuff in the Quick Topic ONLY. I'll PM to you when you after you are dead. You may still not post about the game in other threads until the game is over.

6. Votes must be:
- In bold Like this
- Correctly spelt and capitalized if the player has caps in their name EG (Vote 1: Thyiad not Vote 2: Thyiad or Vote: Thy 2 or vote thy or Vote 1: Thyaid
- You may mispel etc as a distraction but it still won't count!
- At the end of your post

Every player gets TWO votes during the day.
Vote 1 - Who you think "Doesn't belong and is ejected from the Bar" IE Mafia
Vote 2 - Who you think has "Had too much and needs to go home" IE Least useful poster

7. Lynching:
For Vote 1 - One half of the remaining alive players (rounded up) plus one. That's a lock and they will die at the end of the day even if someone unvotes them. If just half the remaining alive players (rounded up) vote for one person, they will die at the end of the day if no one unvotes.

For Vote 2 - 75 % of the remaining alive players (rounded up) plus one need to vote for the same person. That person will then die at the end of the day.

Vote 2 is in addition to the 'inactive poster' mod kills which I may or may not invoke.

8. This is a LIGHT HEARTED game. Don't flame. Don't get personal. If you have a problem with anything in the thread, please PM me (or use the report post button) and I'll deal with it.

9. Any player may claim any role. I.E. Any player may claim to be something that they are not. However, don't post anything which should not be known to the town.

10. You may NOT post information sent to you in a PM (IE role/investigation PMs). If you do, you may get hit by the 'letter bomber'. You have been warned!

11. I won't be telling you the starting roles.

12. Day lasts 48 hours and night lasts 24 hours. However, the game will start with a 24 hour day phase at the end of which no lynch will be made. Game will be 'normal' after this phase and actions will begin afer that initial 24 hours of daytime.

13. You will get mod killed if you are inactive (at least 1 contributive post a day). In addition to the two votes people have. If you have time issues please let me know via PM.

14. Read the rules once more and let me know what doesn't make sense.

15. If you are (temp) banned, you will also be mod killed. And pointed and laughed at.

16. Some players have role playing requirements as part of their role; it does not mean they are mafia. Role-playing is encouraged if it is not required via your PM.

Dead thread is interesting. Particularly the number of mafia. I originally had about 5 in each mafia team plus the Waiters and the town (Barflies). I got told I couldnt have that. I asked why and was "Tut"'d.

INTRO STORY

The view from the street was the same, the fake "Established" date is still there. the interior was the same, but the Bar wasn't quite the same.

"Where everyone knows your name" wasn't entirely appropriate, given the number of new faces in Cheers tonight. Frasier had arranged a get together of his old and new friends and family; and a few enemies of the same.

Sam was happy; he hadn't seen this many people actually buying drinks in a long time. With some luck, they may even cover Norm's bar tab.

"Mesdames et Messieurs, chers collègues et chers friens ...." begins Frasier.

Martin hangs his head in resignation while Sam starts looking for more alcohol; Frasier and French is really going to help business.

"What?" asks Coach.

"We'll explain it later" says Diane.

Cliff starts translating "It means ..."

"Shut up, Cliff" interupts Al, "Frasier, Englsih and brief" he shouts at Frasier.

Roz, Bulldog and Carla giggle.

Frasier realizes how far off the rails this could go if he continues - especially as Niles looks likes he's going to start correcting his pronounciation again. He waves his hand "Alright, alright.", he smiles and puts down his prepared speech.

"Friends, thank you all for being here. It's been a long time since I've seen many of you and .... Let's catch up on all our new, remembet the good times and make a serious dent in the alcohol in this place!"

"Amen!" choruses Sam.

I am having net issues. I am posting this early. Game starts NOW. 24 hour Day will end in 25.5 hours. I know I have PMs waiting. I will try and respond but worst case it will be tomorrow at a friend's house.

24 HOUR DAY ONE START STORY

A few hours later and the Bar is showing signs of a dedicated drinking session. The only sober person being Sam who is intoxicated on his potential profits.

One good thing about Frasier and his friends is that they are unlikely cause any damages. Even that little dog is pretty well behaved. The guy who barks causes a few worrying moments, but it looks like he took Carla's "hints" and well a couple of ashtrays are easily replaced.

"Of course, the Bar wasn't actually Established in 1895", Cliffe tells Bebe as she draws on another cigarette. She's sizing up the other patrons while making suitable noises during this monologue about Boston.

They're an odd group, she thinks. She casts her eyes around the room again: family, Boston barflies, work colleagues from Settle, former wives and lovers, and a dog. She might be in some bizarre novel, a cross between Dante's Inferno and the Waltons.

It's an eclectic mix of people, interests and social strata. In one corner, a bird-like woman (an ex-wife of Niles, she thinks) and a loud vulgar English woman sit sharing a drink. Well, the bird looks at the olive, the Brit guzzles the drinks down like a Navvy.
