analyse my gear and stats (please!:)

Hey fellow wizards! I was hoping someone could take a look at my gear and stats and give me some pointers as to where I should go from here. A few things though:

- Pay attention to "stats2.jpg" and the "Magic Find: 123%". With 5 valors that becomes 198%. I enjoy this immensely, so take that into consideration when suggesting upgrades.

- Notice my life per second stands at 781. I find this to be helpful, as I am a kite wizard.

- Someone in another thread suggested that the Spirit of Adventure + Wanderlust was a good set, however while I was able to buy my Spirit of Adventure for literally just over 1m (1,000,500g to be exact, out bidding someone at the last minute), I'm finding that trying to find a Wanderlust with decent stats at a price that isn't into the 5+ millions is troublesome. However, I will save up for one anyway--but both my rings seem pretty ok to me? (I tend to find a lot of rare rings with my high magic find and since I do a lot of mf runs). Right now I'm farming the first half of Act 2.

You didn't say for what spec we're talking here. Blizz/hydra?

Anyway, bracers, gloves, and hat seem to be obvious places to look at upgrading. You can get tons of good damage stats on gloves: crit, crit damage, attack speed - generally probably only 2 out of the 3 if you don't want to spend a fortune, but currently your gloves are giving you none of the above.

Your bracers have MF, obviously, but no resist all, and no crit. You can get resist all, crit, MF, and decent stats on bracers for a few million.

Hat is pretty obvious, it has no socket. A socket = 25% or more MF (depending on how much you're willing to spend on a gem) so hats without sockets are pretty meh. You're also missing resist all on the hat, but the bonus armor kind of makes up for that.

hearth irons=currently i am selling this on gold ah for 10k. I think i found this though. I just found something that gave me 1000 more dps so i'm equipping that
belt=bought on ah for 30k
boots=bought from someone selling on trade chat for 100k
gloves=bought from someone selling on trade chat for 100k
pants=bought on ah for 250k
amulet=1m outbid someone at last minute on gold ah
source + weapon = just bought today (this morning Was a package deal saw someone selling it on trade chat (she was a wizard named ice). He originally wanted 3.8m but I bought it for 3.1. I'm trying to sell my old 2 hand weapon for 2m on ah (but will probably have to go lower). It has 1200damage and 265 int.

I like my equipment but I wouldn't necessarily try to get the exact stats I have or buy it for the exact prices I did, heh. There's a lot of different stuff out there, be creative and see what you can find. I would recommend trying to buy a blackthrone's breeches for about what I paid and also a spirit of adventure (for 1m), if you like magic find on your stuffr.

Cool thanks for the tips. I'll keep searching for good stuff, I only recently got to lv60 and have about 1m in the bank so think I'll spend that on gear to hopefully farm act 1 efficiently and go from there.

I recently bought the Baron's Cover pants to improve over my Blackthorne's but I suddenly found I had no extra gold and health pickup, so I am thinking of buying a blackthorne's (hopefully better than the one I had before) as my next purchase. I had no idea how important that stuff was until it was gone.

I have a little less mf now (down to 177% after valors rather than 198%), but I plan to get it back up to 198%+ soon. I could swap out gear and I'll consider that option but for now I still don't like the idea of having to do that.

Maximum life 36000 -> 44000
Life regen 781 -> 922
dps 26000 -> 33000

In the near future I'd like to get my dps up over 40k. I also have mostly weaker resistances than before, so I would also like to add res all to my gear, but that might prove easier said than done.

edit: for those of you who might be curious, the Wanderlust I bought was 8m. Wayyyy tooo muchhhhh
edit: actually considering the prices on the ah for a Wanderlust, it was actually not a bad deal
