Problem with google chrome and this forums

Hi, im making this post using firefox, since I can no longer post to the forums wit google chrome.The spot to write message doesnt exist, here are 2 screenies of quick reply and private message, this is happening since I had a windows update 3 days ago:

If anyone has any idea what the problem could be, Im glad to hear about it.

I first tried to make this topic with internet explorer, but I also had a problem with internet explorer. I could write a message, but when I tryed to post it I got an error that my message didnt contain 10 characters.
Firefox works fine.

Hi there, I've checked on Chrome here and I can't re-create the issue... hmm..

Do you have script blocking for the site? This forum uses a javascript editor

some friend tried a system restore at my pc and it didnt fix the problem going back to before my windowsupdate. Also I dont know how to check if im sciptblocking or something. I dont know what that is. I used to post here all the time with chrome until 3 days ago.

EasyG, it's a problem at your end fustratingly because we have not changed anything on the site to make that happen. Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling Chrome?

Hi, I havent been able to solve the problem yet, but will try to reinstall chrome and will update here if/when I find the solution.

Can you not hit "Go Advanced" and use that to post?

no same problem, but was to lazy to make a 3rd screenie.

That's weird... I'm posting from chrome (all day long on OT threads

) and everything is working fine. Did you installed any software on PC or app on chrome? It's possible some aplication setting is making the forum soft (or whatever it's called) go nuts.

Updating my virusscanner solved the problem. For the interested, this virus was at my chrome:
trojan horse: PSW.Generic9.UCX

@dorjan: now you can recreate the problem if you want by getting the virus
