I recently started playin d2 again.
im lvl 72 and i have the crappiest gear ever.
i was wonderin if diablo or baal in hell can drop tal set parts eg plate and ammy
and also, i CANT solo hell trav cause of my gear atm and i cant do countress either....but i need runes...
any advice on how to get runes or hunt 4 them somewhere easier?????
and wats the cheapest decent gear a blizz sorc can have

baal and pindle can drop the entire tal set, i think diablo too, but not 100% sure.
lvl 72 is way too low with crappy gear to farm those places. for items you should farm nm mephisto/baal or even better hell mephisto if you can handle him (google moat trick for an easy way). if you´re only after high runes, you could run lower kurast super chests. a guide for that can also be found in the single player forum. where else you could farm runes really depends what runes you need...nm countess drops till Lum or the like, so enough for most reasonable cheap runewords
ladder or RWM gear:
spirit sword (tal thul ort amn)
spirit monarch or rhyme (shael eth)
skin of the vipermagi or smoke armor (nel lum)
Lore (ort sol) or some rare/magic circlet with cold skills and adds
magefist/chanceguards/frostbrun or something with resists as gloves
nightsmoke or some belt with resists
anything with resists as boots
for rings some combo of fcr, resis, mana, life
for amu some combo of skills, resis, mana, life
insight polearm (ral tir tal sol) on merc with blood craft (tal + perf ruby + jewel) helmet and smoke armor
non-ladder or Vanilla gear:
rare/magic orb with skills, fcr, mana, resis, auto mods
rhyme (shael eth), lidless wall, splendor (eth lum) shield
merc weapon anything that has huge damage
other stays the same
where i listed several mods for gear, it is unlikely that they will all appear on one item, but those are the desirable ones. so pick the combination that is accessible and fills your most pressing build gaps
