New to Diablo 3? Read this great primer.
I usually try to keep complaints about USD/EUR and Blizz to a minimum, but the fact that the euro is worth less in IGG than the US dollar while in the real world 1 € = 1,224 US$ (Google'd) is just stupid. The Diablo3Markets shows 1 € = 312500 g and 1 US$ = 400k.
Blizz makes already a nice profit for charging us Europeans more for everything as with their products USD = EUR usually, this is the case with RMAH minimum listing prices also. In the same time the Euro client service is next to useless most of the time - more money seems not to get better service after all (which has even been noted in the first page news some weeks ago here in IncGamers). Maybe they need the extra money for law bills...
RMAH gold price ofc does not have much to do with Blizz, just needed to vent after seeing the prices.
Or does it? (insert suspicious hamster with dramatic music here)
Hey, I can buy 1 billion gold for only $3,200!
edit: dumb
I believe the refund is never because the price changed right after you looked. It makes much more sense that you are buying directly from individual auctions that are averaged and are shown an amount that is definitely above the last 10. Since individual auctions can be any amount, you buy the cheapest available until that auction sells all its items/gold then begin purchasing from the next, refunding you the difference.
I see many people thinking that the refund is from prices changing very quickly, but prices were never completely elastic to begin with.
Doesn't seem to be the case unfortunately. Moreover, the chart keeps showing a deceptive rise in gold value. I'd suggest keeping it offline if it's not possible to update it at this point.Yes it will track in US dollar, pounds sterling and euro.
