RL: There's some sort of 40 ft drill/piledriver/whatever behind my house, and the sound is annoying (yep, it's a 12m+ drill, maybe they're building something big). Focus is overrated... I'll wait until it stops. Outside.
D3: Yesterday I went to visit inferno Belial and his enrage timer after steamrolling act 2. Glad to know he's ok. I'm not. I can wait another month/patch to progress in inferno. Maybe in 1 month I can reach lvl 60 with WD .
Also, yesterday, I sold 100+ inferno essences by accident. I have almost 500k gold now, which is beyond filth rich by my standards. Since they are easy to farm (you get 100 of those way before a decent item), I plan to buy emerald plans that costs arms, legs, eyes... My endgame plan is to be an emerald dealer...
RL: work was work. After work has been busy, and will be for a bit longer. Soon: dinner; watch stories will doing a bit more busy-ing; then read some God Emperor of Dune before sleep. Whee!
D3: still have the monk parked at normal diablo. I have an idea of what to expect, and should be able to rock it out after a couple of tries. Maybe this weekend.
D2: Ghanima the Random Amazon rescued Cain last night, and her next job will be to tackle the Countess and get to the OC. Definitely not tonight. Maybe tomorrow. Definitely on the weekend.
RL: worked. Also got some stuff ready for our garage sale tomorrow. Sitting at my sons baseball game waiting for it to start right now.
D3: killed inferno Diablo this morning! act 4 was less painful than I expected and I think I only died 3 times to champs and none to the bosses. Maybe I'll try out whimsy tomorrow.
Congrats on the inferno diablo kill! I haven't been reading much on the forums lately, so no idea what class you are playing. I have a demon hunter (that was in normal for the SS nerf and just hit halfway through act 3 inferno for NT nerf) that I stopped progressing with while I try different builds and level a barb.
Also just read that mf makes a difference and not all rares are the same! So much for the ignore mf strategy, that makes switching before the kill even more important, which is lame.
RL work and my fourth anniversary of marriage. Oh how much more diablo I could play without those two...
I would think pretty much the same as any other source, really. The difference being that when you kill a normal monster, if the RNG rolls 'no' on everything you'll end up with a gray item. When you get your extra item from an elite pack with a 5 NV stack, the worst outcome if everything rolls a 'no' is that you've got yourself a rare with the lowest possible amount of affixes (dependent on monster source or item?).
...Sound right? I've no idea, but it makes sense to me... haven't had any coffee yet...
