Ok, thanks for that. What made me 'test' it in the first place was getting to Act 2 in inferno and finding it much more difficult than I expected, particularly the mortar bosses - I wondered why they killed me so fast (~60k hp, although not great armor or resists) so decided to stand still a few times and watch the mortars, and didn't see any dodges at all. A few days later I tried Act 2 again and noticed a mortar dodge, so repeated the stand-still test and saw many more dodges going off, without any significant change in my dexterity between the two tests.
Also when one of the tombs in Act 2 I got into a very deadly tango with some of those constructs but didn't know why they were so nasty.
The lightning bolts from the lightning constructs seem to do a lot of damage too?
I think "Fire wall" type damage have always bypassed all forms of reduction, fire wall being the construct fire and the fire from fire grates.
Which makes me wonder what fire resist is good for? If fire wall and molten bypasses resist...? (fire chain and mortar is physical I believe, per brady guide, but who the hell knows what's what, I doubt the dev team know themselves offhand.)
