Re: Which Signature skill makes the most sense?

The problem with chain lightning is that on top of the low damage, when you're out of AP you're also often out of monsters so you won't be hitting 6. Unless you use a bliz/hydra build, but then you probably want the extra range of piercing orb or magic missile.

I game MM another audition. I remembered why I found it kinda meh; hanging back and flinging missiles makes me feel like I'm an auxiliary hydra.

But I also remembered why it's good: it's a much safer skill to use than CL. CL makes me feel more engaged in the battle, but that means more exposure. As long as my gear remains somewhat marginal (I'm selffound) I think I'll stick with MM. I have to admit that it did make for a much smoother run. Smoother running = more junky rares to ID and recycle!

I'm really loving Arcane Dynamo and Spectral Blades - Bleeding Wounds. You get the five stack really quick because it gets added on with every tick of damage. So you pretty much always have a secondary attack doing 75% more damage. For example, you'd hit a big monster, run away and just two ticks later have a five stack for an empowered Arcane Orb or whatever. Of course, it's a bit more geared toward a melee wizard but yeah, pretty nice. Also with a Crit Mass build, with the way the blades hit multiple times, swinging into a large pack gives you so many crits so fast you could almost spam Diamond Skin infinitely with as little as 20% crit chance.

I have never used arcane dynamo.
How do you know when you have a five stack? Is there any visual feedback showing this?
