Ive been thinking of a new way to build my dh. If i was to get like 50 or 60% crit chance would sharp shooter be of really any use??
The more natural crit u have, the worse sharpshooter is. Once u start gearing towards crit chance, I would just drop SS. Imo the only reason to use SS would be if u are stacking pure critical hit dmg and maybe IAS to spam ball lightnings or something.
So then building towards crit chance and crit damage together wouldnt be a bad thing then
It is currently the "in" thing =)
Ahh ok lol everyone i run with uses ss so thats the only way i build then this idea poped up in my head and was thinking to myself how come i havent tried it this way yet and would this type of build go better with xbow or the one handed xbow witha socket for crit damage??
2 hand xbows are considered the best because of how good crit chance and crit dmg is. Bows are good if u are low geared, or if u need a faster weapon. It's actually a bit disappointing for me cos I think bows look so much more awesome than xbows =(
Some ppl dual wield, but I think those are high discipline based builds. I havent had much experience with it personally so I couldn't really help u on a build for it. I'd assume u'd want to get ones with sockets to dual gem crit dmg, and then some +discipline.
For xbow I generally look for socket as a must, and then ideal stats would be like crit dmg, dex, vit. LoH is nice as well if u r going for a sustain type build (and for those pesky reflect dmg mobs).
Once i can sell this helm i have im goin to figure things out to see whats better and get some gear, we should play sometime
Perhaps if they ever make multiplayer worthwhile =P
