where do I go from here ?

hey all,


so I think I need to respec/rebuild my wiz for farming efficiently beyond act1, and would like to know what I immediately should change / buy (cheap) and any tips at all are appreciated.


i'm pretty sure I should start investing in allres, or add energy armor to my skills.

anyway here are my stats and my items, far from great, but i'm only now starting to get interest into making an all-purpose character.

I guess from what I can see myself, all int/vit and no all-resists , is that my #1 priority or ? I like to have a somewhat good DPS tho...


dps buffed with magic wep / force wep + familiar/sparkflint + glasscannon passive is about 31k dps, forgot now what it is unbuffed, health around 36k unbuffed

switching between templar and enchantress , not sure what is best ( feel free to motivate one or the other ! )

so basically, in order to be able to farm act2 and beyond, what do I need to change and buy for my wiz ?


PS I really like the feel and look of the skill disintegrate, and want to keep it as long as possible...

do you still have the same gear? I just noticed this thread but a week may be a long time.

From what I can see your biggest loser is the belt. Search for a belt with 70-80 all res. Ignore the other stats so you can get something cheap. Definitely start using energy armor. You'll need it for farming act 2. Are you interested in magic find? I have a lot of magic find on my char but it doesn't look like you have any?

If you can get your hands on 250K, buy yourself a blackthorne's breaches to upgrade your pants. Those come with nice magic find and other stats. Then you can later buy blackthorne's boots to get an extra 100 vitality. A good blackthorne's boots is expensive, and you don't want a bad one, so save up at least 1m or 2m before buying on ah.

edit: go for stuff with %life to try to get your health above 35K, that is also key.
edit2: I see your life is already at 35K, but don't stop there. When taking down elite packs in act 2, you'll need lots of life. Also try to find things with life regen, as that really helps if you're a kiting wiz like me.
