    Stuck in act 2 inferno

I'm stuck at act 2 inferno..

Tell me what I can do, I don't even have cash to repair anymore now. I've farmed act 1 for 60 hours straight without gaining any item I could sell.

I'd love to share my build, but blizzard doesn't let me copy the text.

If Blizzard doesn't let you copy, how about a screenshot? Or just plain telling us your stats?

hmm isn't there a site where I can manually fill in the values of my clothing? I tried the hero planner of diablonut, but that simply isn't working. (I can only input ranges of stats).

I'm going to insist on this, don't know why...

Log in, create a game, press "i". Click on "Details". Now you have everything visible that is worth showing.

List your DPS, dex, vit, crit chance, crit damage, HP, resists, armor and attack speed. Then your build, using this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#.

Not that hard if you really want help.

The problem is: I know ALL my items are mediocore at best. I'd like to know which items I should look for in the auction house as simply focussing on every piece of gear becomes too dull for me. If I could just limit my searches to 1 gear piece at a time I'd be happy. Later tonight I'll post the actual weapons I equip. Anyways here are my stats, without any buffs/passive skills on:

    Offense
    DPS: 12258.5
    Damage increased by dexterity: 1287%
    Damage increased by Skills: 0%
    attacs per second: 1.48
    critical hit chance: 5%
    critical hit damage: _79%

    defense
    block amount: 0
    Dodge chance: 42.9%
    Damage reduction: 53.06%
    Physical resistance: 380
    Cold resistance: 310
    Fire resistance: 358
    Lightning resistance: 354
    arcane resistance: 382
    crowd control reduction: 0%
    missile reduction: 0%
    melee reduction:0%
    thorns: 0

    Life
    Maximum life: 42,314
    Total life bonus: +13%
    life per second: 161
    life steal: 0%
    Life per kill: 961
    Life per hit: 934
    Health globe healing bonus: 2610
    bonus to gold/globe radius: 12

    Resource
    Maximum spirit: 150
Spirit regen per second: 0 (Edit. note: I always keep 2 low dmg/stats weapons with 2 spirit a second in inventory)

    Adventure
    Movement Speed: +0%
    Gold find: +17%
    Magic find: +38%
    bonus experience 0%
    bonus experience per kill: 0

BTW, my helm has an extra 18.3 life per spirit spent attribute.
    my skill choices

    Re: STuck

Your only problem is low mitigation. With so high LOH you dont need transcendence that much, so Seize the initiative would give a nice armor boost. The other thing is resistances, you have different res for all of them? If you use one with everything you should try to have items with resist all+1 kind of resistance. (i suggest cold or lightning those are the least useful for other classes, so probably cheapest) You did not list dps but if its over 15k then its ok.

edit: for resistances you should aim around 600
edit2: you cannot have different resistances if you use OWE, so I don't understand

    Re: STuck

As I said: those were the stats before I applied the skills - I will use one with everything, however as you can see I tried to focus on arcane res (thinking "hey least people stack this type of res, let's start stacking it"). I disabled OWE to show the actual values.

The problem with loh is: what if you have to start kiting, something like shielding that brings you down to 4% hp in a matter of 1 hit? You won't be able to actually hit a lot then...

My dps is 12258.5 *dual wield*.

What happens each time is that I find a foe I have to kite yet is very difficult to kite: something like arcane + shield + waller + fire chain. Then everything goes decently well, up to a point a "rage timer" goes of: and then they simply hit too hard and too fast for me to deal any dmg.

Ah ok, I get it now. You see this is a total waste of a passive slot then. If you want to use OWE, choose only 1 resistance. I just checked, without OWE, I have 240 on all res, except for poison which is 670.

To me, it makes a big difference in having another defensive cool down. It makes the game so much more manageable.

    Re: STuck

Hm so with OWE your all res would still be 382, which is quite low still. I recommend a minimum of 800, but going up to 1k is good. For skills I use sweeping winds instead of dashing strike, and blind instead of mystic ally. Try them out and see if u like them. Everything else seems ok to me. Make sure to try to maintain approx 40k hp (more is better, but not entirely necessary). DPS of course increase when u can, but prioritise getting your all res up to 800 first.
