The only reason I'm hesitant about this one is that I assume one receives much more gold spam when in public channels. For the sake of comparison, I get a friend request from a spammer about once every three days while not being in channels, and obviously I get no chat spam.

How much do you get when hanging out in said channel?

I was actually joking and referring to HC grouping !!

I know the HC publc channel exists and I have about 20 people on my /f List and Im always in a game SOLO once I pass normal mode.. Perhaps the HP for monsters scaling when in groups has something to do with this but its rare to actually group with people and play D3 so far for me.. Everyone wants to do their own thing / not get killed by dumbasses /not interested in group play....

Unfortunately i stopped auto-joining the HC channel about a week ago, until they get the spam under control.

playing in group is the only way to go! in public, just watch your own tail

I'd like to think the hc community is tighter than sc. I also find group games way more enjoyable, especially if everyone is on Skype or vent. Playing hc in a group without good communication is a risky endeavor unless you are severely overgeared.

Hopefully the hc channel will provide a good way to find party members without joining pub games...
