RL: I arrived home 4am, after a concert. 150 miles away. Every bone is broken. I had the great idea of sleeping a couple hours and just do all my scheduled work in a few hours, skipping lunch, etc. Now I'm really broken. I should sleep the rest of afternoon but! I was somehow insomniac... For the whole week, I slept around 4 hours a day. My eyeballs hurt... I'll just fall apart this afternoon, watching a dvd. I should go outside later for a pizza with friends, but it isn't likely...
D3: My favored social life replacement, at least while I'm sick/dying/destroyed. I was doing the staircase levelling thing with my monk. It is boring, but so is life... . Anyway, I hit level 59 in 1-2 hours wednesday. If you ever levelled on NM/normal pindle on d2, you know the feeling. I was doing so because:
- I'm really not in the mood to look for hunting phasebeast boospacks on towers under lvl 60.
- I'm really not in the mood for any kind off strategy, besides kicking the door and killing stuff.
- Also, It was "fun" because it was a decent goal to fit 10-30min playtimes squeezed on the middle of the day, since each run takes less than 1 minute with AH gear.
Monk has no MF and I found 1 decent piece of gear for him in under 1 hour (which was more rewarding than 1 hour of inferno, self-found wise). I don't know if it's a ok spot to farm, since I won't have a good number of runs to know... I plan to find out how many time it takes to reach lvl 60 (it seems to be a lot more than 56->59). After that, WD (probably on weekend).
RL: Work's over for the week. I'm feeling pretty broken due to a lack of sleep myself. I haven't gotten a good eight hours in weeks. I thought I was gonna have to call in "sick" to work yesterday... a minute before I jumped in the shower, I realized I had done towel laundry the night before and forgot to put them in the dryer before bed. I ended up drying myself off with a couple wash cloths and an old shirt...
D3: Didn't play much this week, but I jumped into Inferno with my Monk when I got home today. Cleared Act I from the Crypts up through the Butcher, and I found a couple potentially useful items but so far none have gone onto my character. Also got my second Monk up to 60 (cheev!), so that means I'll probably delete him right quick. No point having two max level monks.
OVG: I fired up Lufia II for the SNES this week. I've gotten up to the Ancient Cave... and now I kinda don't care about the game anymore. 'Tis the way with most games these days... if I don't finish it in a week, it usually gets pushed aside. No idea how D3's kept my attention this long...
RL: Going out of town for a week tomorrow to the beach. Getting ready for that a bit today. Packing up/cleaning up/etc. Need to go pick up some groceries etc too and stick them in ice cooler.
Edit: Wow. I'm out of it. Just realized I have an extra day before beach. Guess I'll have free time on Saturday too. Yay.
D3: Probably will play a good bit today, since I'll be gone for awhile. Unless NM Belial kills me, in which case I'll cry and then order dinner. Think I'll farm up one extra level before I do him though, to try and help myself out.
RL: Cousin broke up with her BF, and came over to my house. She brought her laptop.
D3: Nah.
OVG: We tried getting a Median game going through LAN. It worked for abit, but then we got a "connection interrupted" message. The LAN cable slot on her laptop is abit broken. Will probably try again tomorrow. Maybe duct tape will help.
Other than that, I've been playing Minecraft. There's a new video up aswell, if anyone is interested. Video
RL: Out of it all day today. Didn't want to be at work. Didn't want to be home. Didn't want to be anywhere except back in bed, which is strange, since I slept fairly well last night, except that I went back to sleep instead of getting up when I woke up 20 minutes early, which means that the alarm went off at just the wrong moment to wake up properly. Yuck. And work just drug along. Yuck. And now I'm in the throes of clothes-washing for the week. Meh. But I got some decent shots on the 365project today, so that's win, and after I watch Pj's video, I'll be free to...
D3: perhaps, though I wanna get an better idea about what to expect from Diablo before taking him on, so maybe not until tomorrow.
D2: looking at my link archive and personal files for stuff worth including in the offline doc (likely); rescue Cain with either the TS/DTailer or the Frost Ranger/Zealot I started... Any or all will be loads of fun, methinks.
