    Windforce? No. But within a few days of starting D2 (My very first toon was HC - and I started playing a few days after LoD launched), I had mules with lots of low level sets and uniques, some early runeword stuff, and other goodies. Unlikely you'd be wearing any of it past nightmare, but it sure made rolling another lowbie a lot more fun.

    Now you just buy an overpriced gem and keep moving it to a new item. There is no thrill of seeing greens and golds drop.

    Agreed, and I'm really hoping Blizz adds more of those, especially for LLD. My comment was directed more at endgame complaints that you had great stuff instantly in D2 as opposed to farming A1 Inferno endlessly in D3
