On my last grocery trip I bought some frozen fruit and yogurt, etc. and made some smoothies. while I'm not watching my diet or anything, they sure hit the spot in the heat we've been having.
the hand that touches the raw meat shouldn't go back on your spice shaker. with store bought pork you're safer than years past, but still, don't risk it. At restaurants, they enforce this very strongly.
The camera cut, but I'm hoping you washed up before gettin' in that salad. I thought it was funny, you washed up after the hot peppers, but not the meat!
As for helpful hints, I've found if you're cooking pork, store bought cajun seasoning works really well. the fact that they pack a bunch of salt in them to save money actually doesn't hurt too bad. Oh, and leave the fatty side of the roast oriented to the top in the oven. this make the fat drip down onto the meat when it's cooking.
As far as the temp goes, the oven is easy, but if you're cooking that hot, you might like it even better cooked indirect over charcoal with some wood chips. you still get the searing factor, but you also get the smoky factor.
