thanks for the suggestions you guys have been very helpful! I can finally farm in act2 after some upgrades:

I have about 10m gold, working on upgrading my gloves. Is there anything else I am missing badly?

Your gear looks great, the only upgrade I notice you could prolly make a quick gain is your chest piece. If you can find something with Higher Dex and 3 open slots you could really pump up your DPS. The one you have has great VIT, but you could prolly buy something with more dex for less than a million. Opt to swap either a little less VIT or all res.... since you have about 10 mill, you could afford something with both. Anyways looks great, nice DPS!

Your gear is great, you should be farming act 3 with all that. I generally believe that 35k dps is good enough for farming act 2. I am a big fan of Cluster Arrow if you haven't tried that out. Either Cluster Bombs or Loaded for Bear, combined with Grenadier and Entangling Shot: Justice is Served will allow you to put out massive amounts of burst damage.

With out life on hit (which is very nice, btw) you should really be using Caltrops:Jagged Spikes. Get rid of either Vault or Companion. You can just run by trash, get hit, throw down a trap and move along. It will heal you very quickly as they walk over it.
