Where to farm in act 1?

Whats the best route for farming in act 1 inferno?

I used to start at the Cursed Hold quest. Clear everything up to the Warden. Make sure you have 5 NV stacks. If you don't, port to town, WP to the crypts or Festering woods, get 5 stacks, use WP to go back to town and then TP to go back to the Warden. Kill Warden, clean everything up to the butcher and slap his ***. Rinse and repeat.

Sometimes I would also just clear almost everything in act 1, as killing stuff with 5 NV stacks on is pretty much all you need to do.

i personally start at the northwest gate and just do the whole act to be honest.... the longer you farm an act the more worthwhile its going to be. due to the free rares from champion packs at 5 stacks.

I 'm doing this run, took me 30 minutes more or less (this is pretty much what most people are doing by the way):
- Start at The Cursed Hold quest.
- Festering Woods - both caves, 3 NV
- Cemetery of the Forsaken - 3 crypts, 5 NV
- Leoric's Manor - go outside
- Halls of Agony 2 - progress through, kill the Warden, then the Butcher
- Old Ruins - usually there is a cellar with an elite, sometimes there is no elite, sometimes there is no cellar.

If you have pony level, do it by the end of the run.

Without whimsy, I'm getting around 30~40 rares per run and a bunch of gold with base 15% gf / 36% mf.
