Choosing between Crit Chance and Crit Damage for Barb. See below image and stats.

What do you think would be better with my current stats?
Thanks! Not sure if increasing my crit chance or crit damage is better in these scenarios.

My barb currently has a 28% crit damage glove on with str/vit.

All right. Personally, I'd go for the crit chance ones, mostly for their dex bonus since I imagine the difference in DPS is too small to matter either way.

I find that crit chance > crit damage on items as far as the DPS screen goes.

If I'm doing the math correctly, the crit chance will increase your DPS more. At your current stats, the crit damage means that one out of every three hits will do an additional ~30% damage, resulting in a ~10% damage boost overall. But for the crit chance, it means that an additional 6.5 times out of 100, you'll do triple damage, which calculates to a 19.5% overall damage boost.

But I could be calculating it wrong. :/

100 hits at 1 damage each.

6.5 crit chance 93.5 damage + 6.5x3 =113

crit damage, 33x1.3 + 66 damage = 110.2

there is a 1.02% damage difference in favor of crit chance.

but factor in crit procs and the choice is clear
