Should I sell this ring and go shopping?

Hi all,

I'm doing Inferno Butcher runs, haven't started A2 yet, and I found this ring:

• Life on Hit +318
• Regen +124/sec
• Armor: +186
• Thorns: 96

I've not seen anything comparable in the GAH for less than 1m gold, so this could be my first "big" sale. (I have about 1.2m gold currently.) I don't particularly see a use for it, wondering if I should sell it. Character summary:

• Build
• DPS 22k (850 DPS magic bow)
• Armor 2460
• Res 126-185
• HP 42k
• Hatred 125
• Disc 42
• Crit chance 8%
• Crit Dmg 50%
• STR 282
• DEX 1414
• INT 690
• VIT 962

FWIW these are my other rings, i.e. why I don't see the use of the new ring:

• Magic: 68 dex, 7% IAS
• Rare: 56 dex, 49 vit, 65 int, +12 min dmg, +28 poison res

Any foreseeable use for the ring as a DH or should I cash in? (My other chars = 60 Wiz and 14 WD, no plans to make melee class.)

That ring is only good for swapping out on damage reflect mobs. Other than that it does nothing for you, certainly not good enough for day to day wear. If you can pawn it for upgrades elsewhere I'd suggest you do it.

I'd find out how much it's worth...

the only major stat is LoH.. which does sell big but, not sure how big the money will be on around 318 LoH

if I spent big money on a LoH slot for my barb, I'm lookin for 500+ for the big money... I could be wrong but, check out the value

I think you'd get 500k for it if you leave it on for a few days. Rings can get 479 LoH and 342 Life regen.
But you really should upgrade your other 2 rings, especially the second one spending just 20k would get you a much better ring.
And for the first don't overestimate the value of IAS. That 7%IAS gives you less dps than +100 dex.

not sure how to value this ring, loh is a popular stat right now, but that ring is sooo bad without the 300 loh.

like the poster said above, maybe 500k to the right person who wants to try it out with their gear

I ended up listing it at a buyout of 2 mil, just to be crazy, figuring I would incrementally lower it when it didn't sell.

Well, it sold for 2 mil. Ohhh baby.
