RL and D2 combined:
I've lurked here infinitely more than I've posted over the last several years. The last few months though, I haven't really been following things.
Was everyone super psyched for D3 or, like me, did you not like the design decisions Blizzard made? I never even picked it up, just kept playing D2. But half of my friends bought new PCs for it, and are now already talking about going back to D2. Is that the consensus around here as well? I guess if nothing else, you have a nice new PC!...
RL: Test #2 today. This test will determine grade in the class. Also go see the Dentist at 2.
D2: A little after the test.
OVG: Waiting on Torchlight II still.
@kitriara: I just never bothered to get it after I tried it during the open beta weekend. The design was bad and the items were not desirable. No SP offline pretty much sealed the deal. I might look at it about 5 years down the road though.
Hey, someone stole my daily! Was planning to make one as my thumb, which i've hurt well over a month ago, finally stopped hurting. Still feeling completely right, but at least the pain has gone. Was gonna call this 'two thumbs up tuesdaily' as it has nice alitteration. Guess i'll have to hurt myself once more so i can heal again and post one in another month or so. Than again, maybe i better not do that.
@DJ: That reminds me, in about 3 or 4 weeks i have a dental appointment myself (regular check-up). Can hardly wait as he has (or at least had last time i was there) the cutest assistent. Maybe this time i can pull myself together and see if she's interested in going out.
RL: Work. Only 3 more days to get through before a 3 week holiday starts. Yay! Hopefully the weather will be better then it has been so far. Temperatures varying a lot and often clouded and rain (today being a very nice exception).
As my RSI is acting up a lot lately i've decided to combine being less behind the pc with my longer standing wish of getting some more excercise. So now i'm trying to fit in some excercises into my daily schedule. It's not much, but every bit helps. So far (about half a week in) i'm still having enough motivation to keep doing it. Having some sore muscles i didn't even know i had. Maybe during the holiday i can get myself to do some more active things instead of laying in the sun in the backyard like last year (not that that was a bad way to spend the holiday).
Went to the place where i get my hair cut as i'm almost out of hairgel. When i get there they tell my they're all out too! They *should* have it in stock again tomorrow (somehow they didn't sound really convincing). I'm hoping there's still enough left for me to get my hair done tomorrow morning or i'll surely hear it at work. After that it's hoping i'm not going over there in vain again.
D2: Yup. The aforementioned RSI trouble are keeping me from doing the amount of runs i'd like, but i'm still making progress. Looking at the exp bar yesterday i'd say i'm about halfway. Need about 150M, 40 should come from ancients so i still have to do 110M worth of runs. Target is still august, but maybe the holidays can make me speed things up a bit.
Pokemon that brings back memories. I remember me and friends using gliches and stuff to catch lv 150+ mewtwos. and with gold/silver using dittos traded to R/B/Y to catch glitched mew. And then using some sort of trick with ditto to make it shiny so you can mate shiny pokemon in G/S.
Kind of interesting that your internal battery still works I think most of mine died after ~8 years. Only have yellow and gold that still work every other version doesn't save properly anymore so unless you do some kind of hardcore play through where you never turn it off they are pointless. I never got into any versions past crystal, the idea of playing basically the same game for just 50-100 new Pokemon every few years got boring.
RL: Helped my oldest sister move, now watching my nephew today. Spent most of Sunday and Monday by my parents.
D2: Will play later I think no exact plans as to what I will do though.
OVG: I played some PS2 games over the weekend. On God of War I almost made it to the end of the game on God Mode. I also played Resident Evil Code Veronica kind of duo style with one of my younger sisters. I'd play for a while then let her take over, then she'd pass it back to me. Only made it to where you are controlling Chris, my sister is bad at ammo management, and wasted most of our grenade launcher ammo.
