Price check and future legendary value question

The second question is more of a discussion. Found IK Stone Crusher for 90k on the AH, so I snapped it up figuring I'd flip it or salvage and sell the brimstone, but it got me thinking: when the set/legendary items are adjusted in 1.10, will the changes be retroactive (like the IAS change), or only for the items going forward? Is this something I should just hang on to as an 'investment'?

I remember a blue post where it said the changes wouldn't be retroactive, meaning only the ones dropped after the patch would be different.
