What slot has the best "bang for the buck" upgrade for lvl 60 barbarian...

...for a dual weilding WW/crit barb just entering inferno? It seems rings and ammy are just darn expensive, and of course those are what is most needed. So in what slot can I get the most upgrade for gold spent?

To this point, I have spent about 500K gold. I got a decent ring for a monk, and sold it on the AH for 750k. Got about 800K available. I do full Act 4 hell runs in about 1 1/2 hour, seems monet come slow (although last run I did get a Goldskin drop from big D...how's THAt for my first legendary drop lol!)

I'd imagine you could get A1-doable gear for a 1million or so WOAH just realised it's woodshed hello what an old name.

What are you using at the moment? That would give people a good indication of where to improve. I myself just bought some nice pants for 400k, though bracers are generally cheap for any class. Promise of Glory are worth mentioning, and Andy's Visage is going for about 300-400k in EU now.

I would pick the slot that is most straightforward and simple in terms of what beneficial mods it provides, and less likely to get specific upgrades (with specific i mean for example certain Legendary/Set upgrades you might want to aspire to).
-Pants: Vit, Str, Sockets, Res, Armor
-Shoulders: Vit, Str, Res, Armor, Life%
-Belt: Vit, Str, Res, Armor, Barb Skill (this one is a little more complex)
You can also temporary switch to a shield if you have a hard time.

I would say a weapon is probably the biggest upgrade you can get. There are good deals on fairly high dps weapons now. Though survivability is the most important thing for a barb you also need to kill stuff at a reasonable pace. I think right now boots, belts, and bracers are probably the best deals armor wise. Just get rares with all res, vit and str (anything else is just icing on the cake).

I agree get the highest dps blue weapon with a socket you can. Then put LoH or Crit Damage in it. Shield is also huge a 25+ block shield that blocks 2700-3700 are pretty affordable and can get you through act 1 and act 2, I like ones with 30+ All resist as well. After that I search All Resist 45, Strength 60, Vit 60 and see if you see any deals in each slot. I also had a lot of luck getting decent rings cheap.

If memory serves me right shoulders and belts can have over 200 str, so you might want to scout the ah for that every now and then.

Personally l feel a good amu and Chest can make almost as much of a difference as a weapon, but good weapons truly are what causes the biggest jumps in performance, l feel.

Your weapons are somewhat lacking in dps, but the crit dam and on hit mods are very nice so an upgrade would probably be too expensive. IMHO just upgrade your gloves for extra damage output, something along the lines of good str, moderate vita/crit chance/crit damage can be bought under 1M.

You do not need that much ehp for act 1 inferno, some extra res could come handy but dps is your friend if you want to be efficient there.

+more crit chance is needed for blood funnel to work properly. The best slots are amu and gloves to boost that one.

Eh, you have better stats there than I had when I cleared act 1, and I didn't find it very hard. I don't think you need to look for any particular upgrades until act 2.

I'd say a weapon, you wanna try and get one in the 700 range at least...

I would also get a chest piece with 3 sockets and fill em up with str and vit

My barb isn't amazing, but, i'm able to survive a2 without getting slaugtered
