Diablo 3 blocking LogMeIn, workaround?

I use logmein to manage my Diablo 3 account because I travel and can't install diablo 3 on my work laptop. After the recent 1.0.3 patch Diablo 3 produces a grey or black screen when I try to launch the app. The mouse cursor remains the Diablo 3, so I know the app is running. I have tried to toggle most of the settings with no luck. I was wondering if anyone has a workaround for this?

I don't use the app to play the game just to move my items around and manage my auctions.

I use Splashtop and it works pretty well. You can even play over the streaming link if you can sustain about 5mbps.
