Smite questions

Ok read the thread, still want to make sure of a few things for what adds to damage.

Does on weapon +ED vs undead/demons work? (Like will mace class weapons add +50% to undead automatically for example, or a chipped diamond) Or any off weapon, Like Laying of Hands?
Ith rune in weapon or any max/min damage on weapon work as well? (+60 max for example) or +min/max from equipment? (+1damage ring for example)

1. No, ED against Demons/Undead do not work with Smite, on or off weapon
2. No, only [Damage +X] mods work, not +X max/X Min or +X-Y damage. Compare The Redeemer [Unique Might Sceptre] and War Traveler [Unique Battle Boots] to see the difference. Redeemer's mod works with Smite, War Traveler's mod doesn't
