You basically just keep blizzard/slow time between the enemies and you. It will slow down both the enemies as well as slow down enemy missiles. If they get close, frost nova, back up a few steps, slow time/blizzard and continue spamming. This actually works pretty well.
Note: tested with venom hydra instead of slow time, definitely does a lot more damage. So it's basically another blizz/hydra setup, I guess. :P

Sorry late reply.
Still using the same build as i enjoy it a lot. Paralysis was a mistake. I use temporal flux instead.
I have read somewhere that the 30% slow from Temporal Flux makes effectively no difference to monster speeds in Inferno.
Anyone have experience with this? or know how speed reductions are handles in inferno?
It would reduce the my perceived effectiveness of my all arcane build
My corrected build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#akPQRO!UgY!cZZYaY

You can try it yourself. I've been using Temporal Flux at first, but then I realized it literally has no impact on how the game plays against champion packs, so I switched to Illusionist/Critical Mass where applicable.
I mean, you do notice it against white enemies, but they aren't an issue in the first place.
I do wish I could find some info on what exactly is going on in Inferno slow wise. No idea whenever slows just flat out get a penalty, or whenever they stack up additively with the enemy speed boosts - which weakens them.

Hey guys,
I have been using Meteor in my builds since it beta. It is my all-time favorite skill.
My wizard is sitting at 48K HP, 600 All Res, 2790 Int w/ 53K dmg with Force Wep. I have been farming act 2-3 Inferno and taken down All Bosses in Inferno.
The current build I have been using is this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...QSO!WXT!bZbZZc
And I must say, its pretty nice to farm solo, and also play co-op.
The first style of my build was http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...QSO!YXU!cZaZZY
This was mainly to keep an AoE Snare w/ great aoe dmg.
I recently found that switching Glass Canon -> Cold bold w/ blizzard was a better with staying alive.
Being able to drop the meteor, then hit a blizzard on the area is a great way to start any combat off.
Glad to see others out there with this playstyle!
I use: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...QRO!dfX!YZaYbY
Im in act 1 atm. I used to run the same build in hell with arcane hydra and magic missile with temporal flux. Temporal flux doesnt help much in inferno so I switched to the skllset I use now. The build is very gear friendly, as my gear is **** and it works for me.
Will toss Galvanizing ward the moment I have gear to sustain a better HP regen over time. I would toss Illusonist too and probably switch out hydra with frost nova or wave of force with critical mass, but that requires some better gear with +Crit adn +crit dmg. +AP gear would certainly result in switching star pact to comet or the molten rune.
The way I play this build is to spam meteors, teleport around(especially in tight indoor spots), and use Diamond Skin for dodging ranged attacs, teleporters, chargers, vortex etc... The hydra is bonus damage, and good when kiting champions .
I use AP fixer to spam more meteors. I dont really need pierce for invulnrables. Got meteors for that
