HC > SC gold rate change, better rate now (Again, you can still get better rate cruising trade forum given time and getting a honest trader)

what if you provide us with the item and we post it on forums to sell. still at the set price at what you tell us to set it at? or is this strictly ah sale items only?
sometimes the forums are easier to sell on. i do both and also have hc ah slots all freed up.

I've thought about forum sales, and I don't strictly restrict players on their prefer method of selling, though I'd also need to really trust a player to let him do forum sales (more avenue of abuse via multi, frd alt ...etc)

I use to keep a 50-300k piece thread going on that other site, but it just took too much time to maintain even though sales is brisk (I'd rather use that time to farm). And I find the 500k - 1M+ pieces better in AH around 90% of the time, obviously a 50% commission on these pieces are way way out of the question, and I generally find few enough that my AH slots can keep up... barely.

But basically yes I've considered a few things, but figure I'll start with the most basic and get it streamlined first.

Currently I'm working with 4 players, some interesting figures taken from the past 3 weeks of operation:

Record gross sales in a single day (single agent) - 1.02 mil HC gold
Record sales in a week (single agent) - 2.65 mil HC gold, 50% split comes to 1.32 mil HCG, converted into 3.31 mil SC gold
Lowest sales in a week (single agent) - 1.19 mil HC gold

It's pretty volatile and luck of the draw from my observation.
