    Natalya's Set 1.0.3

Do you think the +2 disc bonus is going to be nerfed in the near future? Just bought the chest armor a few hours ago, hesitant to drop more guap on the 3 other pieces for the buff. What's your guys' thoughts?

    Re: Natalya's Set 1.0.3

I don't know, but I am sure that the bow will be buffed in the future. If you are worried you can just buy the armor, helm, and boots because the ring is very expensive. They did just buff the set bonus and you don't want to live in fear of what they may or may not do. Just spend gold on what you want and enjoy the game.

Edit: Bashiok talked about the change:
Yeah that was an unintentional change in 1.0.3, and we've been aware of it. We're not quite sure what we're going to do yet. We're a bit apprehensive because we really don't want to keep fiddling with people's items, even though this makes the set quite good. On the other end, it was an unintended change and so correcting it isn't quite the same as fiddling. In any case, it hasn't been discussed fully and so we don't know yet, and probably won't know exactly what we'll do until next week.

Bashybooboo posted a thing about it. Which adds zero info, other than letting us know that the change was an accident.

    Re: Natalya's Set 1.0.3

I'd say don't drop the gold on it.
The discipline regen is so heavy that it renders every other method( suppression fire, night stalker, bitter pill ) entirely useless in comparison.
Much like tentacles, it's too strong with tactical advantage and ss+special recipe( only teleporters have a chance to ever touch you ), so imho they will definitely change it.

+the prices have already gone up even for garbage pieces.
Good ones that can compete with top end rares in other stats are going for ridiculous sums.
When all is said and done, too heavy investment for something that's likely to get the nerfbat
    in the near future.

How the hell does Blizzard unintentionally make changes to pieces of their game without even knowing.

It's not like they didn't touch that part of the game - they nerfed IAS affix on both new and existing items, so it is not that far fetched to assume they fiddled with the affixes in general (and undocumented) way.

That's a stretch. Nothing on the nats set has any ias, so for the ias nerf to have some indirect and unforeseen effect on the 4 piece bonus is not plausible. No, someone directly pulled up the items database and manually changed the value from .42/second to 2/second and they realized latter that they screwed up.

    Re: Natalya's Set 1.0.3

Same as sharpshooter crit chance resetting when you switch items prior to 1.03, but post 1.03 it does not.

It's like they took 1.02 and built 1.03 on top of it, forgetting about 1.02a, b, c, etc.
(example, i'm not saying this happened, but something similar could have)

Anyone else find that IAS is still one of the best damage increases still? So their nerf didn't necessarily serve its purpose.

The nerf didn't change anything about how IAS works -- it still has the same effect on your dps as it did before. All the nerf did was made it much more difficult to stack IAS in the first place.

If I close the front door of my house, does the side door open as a result? They changed IAS rates and somehow discipline regeneration on a set bonus changes? I don't know a damn thing about programming but that sounds a little weird...
