Crazy fast Inferno farming patch 1.0.3 | Act 2

Full write-up is over at the website if you can't watch videos right now. This is the best farming technique I've found post patch now that they've nerfed the sh*t out of chests and bosses, would love to hear other people's strats. I'm sure one of you smart fella's has a better way to do it.

    Wrong viedo bro.
Ive been farming act 2 like that before 1.03 so I guess it must be good farming spot :>.
Unfortunately they fixed few 100% elite pack spawns in 1.03 (like the guy before waterlogged passage) but act 2 is still great farming act.
Black Canyon Mines are good starting point (I just hate sewers) because it is fairly small area and have high density of elite pack but players should be really careful there because pulling 2 or even 3 elite pack at once there is actually common and can be deadly.
I would go to Oasis after clearing it. You should be aware of any levers/cogwheels because especially in oasis they often open up caves which are filled with elites and chests.
With 5 stacks you should go to Ancient Path wp not Desolate Sands because there is high probability that on the way from there to Desolate Sands there will be Treasure Goblin and since Treasure Goblins were BUFFED in 1.03 (they always drop rares if you have 5 stacks or at least 10 consecutive goblins did drop rares for me) they are quite a catch.
I enjoy watching your movies also really like your friends page (Im into design) so thank you for making them.
BTW I didnt find any decent item since 1.03 too :3.

Re: Crazy fast Inferno farming patch 1.0.3 | Act 2

Gonna go try doing runs like this. Been farming act 2 from start to end since the patch and I get quite a lot elites on the way, but it does take quite some time (2,5h/run... takes 3,5h if I clear everything) so it would be nice to have a farming round which is a bit shorter.
Also, like Dym said, there are a lot of packs to be found in Oasis!

Btw, if I remember correctly Blizzard said that the drop figures were an aproximate average over all of the act. I do believe that means that you have a bit lower chance of getting ilvl 63 drops in the beginning of act 2 and a bit higher chance in the end of act 2. If that's correct I think it's something to keep in mind while choosing where to farm.

And I've mostly found crap since the patch, even if I managed to sell at least one of my crap items for 1,4 million in the AH

I've noticed my drop rates for 62/63 items SEEM to be higher at the end of the map, in the sands and zultune kulle's archives then at the beginning.
