I don't really play that fast. Just had a lot of time yesterday and today.
Amanda and Amplisa are slowly but steadily plinging away at things. Andariel went down easily on /p1. I didn't dare to try it on a higher setting because of the low damage output. Everything else was taken down at /p8. Much running in the Sewers, but no NDE so far. 3 levels til Decoy and hopefully more order.
Amanda the scared-of-beetles lvl 21 Amazon and Amplisa the looking-forward-to-a-new-bow Rogue, off to get the cube.
Putrescence, berserker, lvl 21, Luth Golein (Radament down)[/QUOTE]
Nothing exciting. A couple of El runes. Wish there were Tir runes amongst them. Started to use Howl insted of stun in this act. Against bosses Bash still works adequately.
I'm really rusty after 4-5 years of not playing, so I need some help. I got to fix my mana situation. "Wait for the Sol for Insight!" will obviously not do it here.
Killspeed is to slow for socketing Tirs. That leaves me with Sapphires for headgear sacrificing the MF there. (I haven't found any charms/jewels/gear with +mana/mana leach). Currently I have only one normal Sapphire anyway, but I don't want to put it into the wrong item.
So what I am looking for is info on which headgear is the first to be able to have 3os and where it can drop. Some faint memory says masks and A3, but not very confident that it is correct. Some of you sure know for sure, so please help me out. I'd also appreciate any other advice on how to fix the mana problems.
Yes, it is mask, and in A3. Sadly unenchanted version not avaiable in shop. You might try shoprun for Artisan affix. You other chance is to gamble mask, crown or great helm.
From circlets the above-normal ones (tiara and diadem) can come with 3 sox, but fat chance there.
To solve manaproblem 1) do not rise your skillevel too high compared to your possibilities if skillevel incrises manacost. 2) buy something in the shop that provides you manaleech or mana-per-kill. 3) if all else fails, gamble and hope.
Thanks for the confirmation. Guess I have to patiently wait a bit longer. Physical damage and killspeed is too low for mana leech or mana per kill unfortunately. I'll pling away patiently for a while longer and drink potions for casting decoy and the occasional cold arrow.
I have this memory that first artisans with 3sox available is at larzuks (3os great helm). First 3 os droppable is indeed mask, (my memory also) Dont know about level, but a3 is definately possible, also 3os ghelm ???, just dont count on it. I would just put it into 2os helm and forgetaboutit.
