    Drop was meh. Found arctic belt and civerbs ward in catacombs, but these will go to Fara most probably. Also found fhr GC and 17 lr GC though, so Im ready for some bug action. Need to get the cube asap, my stash is filled with chippies, so sewers will wait.

    Good to see people making progress here! We're getting the internet connected at home tomorrow, so I will be about more.

    I haven't been able to boot D2 up for a day or so (work and RL getting in the way of important things as usual), so my char is still in A1. Hopefully I'll deal with Miss Andariel this afternoon.

    Pitdog Foulspawn was a very close NDE for me due to my complete absence of CR. Mind you, I've got a grudge against him/it from the first HC char I played and now make a point of hunting him out every time I'm in the Prison.

    Made it to the cube and cubed a Savage (67) Halberd of the Wraith (6). What a nice weapon for Vengeance!
    Need 1 more level (24) to equip it, shouldn't take too long.

    Enjoyable character so far, looking forward to try that (in-)famous Conversion skill which might be the primary method of crowd control in the future, since Deathspade is getting old (though still effective).

    Finally made it to LG!

    It's taken me nearly a week of on-and-off playing to get this far. The only drop of any use at all has been this. 2H slow attack weapon ftw!

    Putrescence, berserk barb (this whole tournament-idea is most probably suicidal, so), lvl 7, Cold Plains.

    As far as I know Howl is allowed to use. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

    Minor note: I don't use stash-enlargement. Partly for bigger achievement and dedication, but mostly because I don't want to install those just for this purpose

    Some of A are out: as a rule of thumb: if it makes a pattern below your feet and has a positive effect for you or a negative effect on your enemies, it's forbidden. Thunderstorm, Druid spirits, and Paladin auras all come under this. Hurricane and Armageddon don't.

    B: Curses: All good apart from CoS (makes a pattern under your feet and has a positive effect). The others don't.

    C Prebuff: BS is OK, Fade and BoS are not (see Rule of Thumb), Bone Armour is fine, Shout and BO/BC are not, and the rest (HS, Ench, ES, C and cyclone Armours (iirc they are "ankles-up") are all OK.
    Don't let that discourage you, though. A hunter druid without spirits is probably way more viable than a BO-less barbarian!

    Damn, read in the rules that minions are ok and hoped a spirit would count at that. Will decide tomorrow if I want a not-ever-hitting-bow-firing-druid or not. Most likely not,

    Putrescence, berserk barb, lvl 15, Dark Wood.

    The DW WP is right at the exit of the area, so no fuss.


    Question:
    Am I right with the suden realisation, that A2 mercs are out of question?

    Something else: what's the highest according to your knowledge anyone ever reached with a Single-pass character?
