Barbarian skill question (are there any medium range skills for this class?)

After about 100 hrs playing a Monk to level 60 in inferno, I'm thinking about rolling a Barbarian. I was looking at the skills and was wondering how Barbarians deal with pools of fire/posion/etc and enemies that like to camp in these pools. With my Monk, I could take a few steps back and use a medium range skill like Deadly Strike with the shift key held down to keep me from moving. How do Barbarians deal with this?

Maybe seismic slam, but many barbs don't use any fury spenders in Inferno.

Best bet is to stack armor and resists and facetank as much as possible, while trying to leech back some life with revenge and LOH

Leap+Iron Impact/Ignore Pain to mitigate the damage, and generally try to not stand in pools of fire/poison.

Overpower+Crush Advance works very well if you have LoH.

The most common and simple answer would be Wrath of the Berskerer+Insanity. Kill them before they kill you.
