Are my stats ok for Act 1 Inferno? (Wizard)

Those are my stats with Energy Armor (+ Force Armor).

I know I should probably drop some Vit in favor of some more resistance/damage/armor, but as my stats stand, am I ok for Act 1 Inferno?

Any advice would be appreciated.

i wouldn't recommend trying to kill elites across the bridge as your dps is a bit low.

That was my worry. I guess I need to drop some hp (68k is probably way overkill) and work on some damage. Thanks for the tip!

Don't be ridiculus loll all otu vitality? tanks have 45-60k hp with 900 resists xD 1300 vita is already very good, dump the rest in inteligence and resistances !

i have wizz in a2 inferno right now. And what i can say is ye 60k hp is overkill. Also playing wizz alone past a1 inferno is kinda bad. Range (maybe besides wd beacuse of pets) need tank so they can spec little more dmg and less surv. (even with 70k hp u won't survive very fast mobs that u can't escape from, that's why u need tank) When they spec surv they still struggle in a2 beacuse of low dps. That's how it is now from my experience.

ALso drop force armor and get prismatic. Your resists are way too low. When you have 600 with prismatic you can start farming a1. But i would still recommend teaming up with some barb or monk or better both of em, this way playing as range is more enjoyable since you can drop your shield and equip source and do some dmg.

Sorry wasn't following for a few days while I re-geared as much as I could afford to. Don't worry I dumped a bunch of those hp! haha.

I now have 52k hp with 10.5k dps, 350-400all res with prismatic. Solo'd my way up to SK (fought all named packs on the way and had no issues, though I am craving some more DPS), just have to go in there and fight him. Had a full NV stack but kinda chickened out because my dps isn't great, might try him tonight... it's just the SK, right? haha.

Broke for now but gonna try to fix up my gear further as soon as possible.

My wiz is sitting at 10k dps (realistically about 14k with hydra), 43k hp, 400 resists all (Using force; maybe I should try prismatic?), 5k armor.

I feel under-geared and vulnerable without a ginormous amount of kiting room that also doesn't involve vortex, (rare rectangular) waller or fast monsters...

I have solo'd up to and killed Sk (and all packs to him) but that was more of a one time thing probably having to do with a lot of luck and a lot of guts throwing my life on the line than being actually adequately prepared. I've now resigned to farming a1 up until Mira. I sometimes cross the bridge when I feel ballsy and I might kill a pack or two but I usually end up running back to town due to not feeling confident about most packs.

You definitely want to be using prismatic armor over force armor for act 1. Nothing should be coming anywhere close to hitting you for over 35% in one hit with those stats.

Just keep working on getting comfortable with the damage intake. Your stats are more than fine for clearing any champ packs. I started clearing up to SK with similar stats, but only about 7.5k damage and about 450 resist with prismatic and once you get your rhythm it is more than enough (albeit packs take a while to kill).

yeah I am loving prismatic. I am now working torwards the Butcher and am far more worried about that fight than SK (SK was a very slow kill but he did not enrage on me).

Now at 11k dps, 52khp, 400 all res, 5.5k armor.

I just fear my kill speed is lacking for the fight.

Thanks. I've been thinking about that and I'll try using prismatic. I'm sure it will make general life easier.

I've been using force for a while since hell to prevent stupid deaths, as it guarantees at least 3 hits. Wind-up melee attacks, molten explosions, suicide falen etc. They're all avoidable but I don't want my 1st mess up to be my last x.x
