Wortham to Butcher I played Witch Doc, there was one DH, one Monk, and one Barb.
I never died for no reason except my own errors, I found so plentiful of rares it was almost ridiculous (I only got 15% mf from my pants) and butcher dropped a 900dps bow with high stat bonuses for me. (I gonna make a DH now, yes playing with self-found is actually possible now)
Everybody in the party was able to do decent damage and take a few hits if necessary. The melees weren't grinded by molten and we ranged never instagibbed by vortex. The DH provided some decent base ranged damage, me some spike range and cc, the Monk buffs and immediate melee aoe and the barb spike meele, cc and tanking.
We cleared every champ and elite and some dungeons and hadn't to skip a single pack.
But it was also hard at times, frozen has become really nasty but still no death zerging. The game is now balanced.
thank you blizzard for the best diablo experience since I quit D2C 1.06.
Maybe you should stick until 1.13 LoD. -_-
But...
WAAAAAH THEY NURFED MY DH I DO 80K INSTEAD OF 100K NOW WAAAAAAH
What's amazing is that threads like OP are going to get ignored or flamed. Truly, we live in the age of whiners.
Positive feedback and praise just isn't fashionable anymore.
lol I haven't even seen uber tristram in my entire life. Don't get me wrong I played Lod alright. But I got sucked into the offline beta 1.10 discoverd the hammerdin perfect item, bugged damage loophole (max cast rate and a +2hammer+3conc scepter and previous quality uniques in stash) exploited it for a while and then quit before 1.11.
I'm pretty sure openly admitting you're enjoying the game is a bannable offense around here so you might wanna be careful.
I am happy for you. My experience has been a net loss of gold on my gold runs which is just thrilling. I know I probably should go back to hell but I would rather stick needles in my eyes than farm gold in hell so I rather farm inferno act 1 with my witch doctor in hopes of finding awesome loot but I since I get mortar bombed to death I soon will have lost my few million gold and can't repair my gear and then it's gg
I kind of enjoyed WoW, up until WotlK. Since then, it has been a downward spiral...
I'm just sad that someone started it before me.
Pre-patch (100++hrs of play):
Found one equipable item from start of NM to Act 1 Inferno. It was an off-hand so can't even use it with the budget 2 hander I had to buy from AH to start Inferno.
Found zero items that would sell for the price I paid for each item from the AH.
Brick-walled on the orb quests to unlock the second sword piece.
Highest dps weapon found was ~310
Post patch
1 999 dps weapon
1 700 dps weapon
1 669 dps weapon
Multiple 400-500 dps weapons
2 sellable helms
1 sellable belt
Played about 6 hours. Progressed the quest to the Highlands with some difficulties but not throwing my headset frustration.
When I say "sellable" I don't limit that to 1 mil + type items. I just mean stuff that might actually sell at all (posted between 65k - 200K).
The game actually feels playable again and I can live with the increased repairs. I still managed to cover my repairs for the night of progressing and make 70k gold. I actually have a prayer of advancing with self found drops.
Once the AH adjusts to the new gold acquisition rates after repairs, I think it'll be ok. With AH prices so high still and repairs making a serious dent in gold/hour, it feels unadjusted. But Blizz can't fix the Ah for us. We'll have to do that ourselves over time.

Does donating to the site give you a ban-shield? If so, I will openly admit that I enjoyed this game from the beginning (even though I had some issue, I generally enjoyed the game) and I am enjoying it even more now that they adjusted some stuff with the new patch. However, if I don't get a ban-shield, then *waves hand in Jedi mind trick* this is not the post you're looking for.
