I think I'm Done with the Game

Not just because the patch didn't stop the ridiculous damage and "unavoidable" deaths that force players in to dying every few seconds, and than make it 10x more frustrating by making repairs cost 10x more. (I lost 100k in 20 minutes of playing act2 on my barb).

Not just because character customization is destroyed because of this ridiculous damage that forces you to pigenhole in to super defensive builds and ignore everything else. RIP interesting builds, 2handers, dual-wielding and any kind of fun build.

Not just because the item system is incredibly linear, boring and broken, and has been since beta (which I pointed out in 6 different articles)

Not just because I am absolutely baffled that Legendary and set weapons were released in a state that is absolutely ludicrous, and just 1 minute of looking at the giant white DPS text would recognize the blatant problem that they are completely unusable by a factor of around 100% vs magical items, and no one at Blizzard noticed it, rendering one of the funnest and most important features of the game useless.

Not just because the story and dialogue is one of the worst displays of terribleness I have ever encountered in a game, and destroyed my favorite franchise by making the antagonists a bunch of loudmouth, un-cunning and anti-climatic retards who sound like they belong in #Teenchat on IRC.

Not just because the RMAH has no future as it relies on a decent and fun item system.

Not just because crafting, which was one of the biggest things I was looking forward to is absolutely useless and not fun.

Not just because Blizzard keeps making mistake after mistake when "rectifying" issues, ie patch 1.03, which the slightest amount of testing would've revealed that it was still absolutely broken. (In fact, I played for 5 minutes and discovered it was a problem).

Not just because of the loss of faith in Blizzard after articulating what is wrong with the game, and then making it worse.

Not just because the game is so completely not fun, thanks to a boring item system that has all but extinguished the item hunt that was so awesome in Diablo 2, making it a chore to log in to.

But because of all those things combined.

but seriously, I pretty much agree w/ all your points except for the first one - the dying. I'd guess your barb is either under-geared or just needs to go back to farming A1, since drops are better. ...but obviously you won't do the latter. ...so, gold plz?? =D

My gear is pretty good I think. Regardless, the fact that I have 3/3 defensive passives and all the usual Defensive skills just reinforces how broken the game is. I should be a tank with this build and rarely die, but kill slow. Instead, I HAVE TO choose a defensive build and will never equip a 2h weapon. Ever.

I'll see this evening how the game actually looks. From what I read I won't be able to do a3 any more I could yesterday. At least supposedly even a1 gives better loot (even tho I suppose it's still about gold farming), and if things were nerfed a little I should be able to do some parts of a2 for farming maybe.

It was pretty straightforward to have act2 on farm before the nerf, let alone now.

I just burned through 20 packs in act2 in about 90 minutes. Never looked like dying... in fact... the nerf was so noticeable, I dropped superstition AND Tough as Nails for solo act 2 farming.

I'll see this evening how the game actually looks. From what I read I won't be able to do a3 any more I could yesterday.

How do people come to this conclusion? From what I've read all the regular monsters do 30-40% less damage. That sounds like a huge nerf and I'm not buying that the game is still impossible considering how well some people were doing in the last patch.

That's all good and well except you have had to completely pigeon-hole not only your build, but your gear and basically everything else just to survive. You should just cut your barbs penis off while you're at it.

Will you ever use a 2-hander? Will you drop your defensive passives in Act 4 ever? Nope. Will you ever make an interest and unique build. Neg. That's my problem.

Yeah...no. I beat Diablo with a 2-hander pre 1.03. Still gonna tell me it's impossible? Or you gonna change your argument to the fact I had godly gear passed down by friends. Because that's not true either.

As the game matures and more great drops become available, you will see more 2H barb builds.
