A staged and scripted gameplay does not a game make. Nothing of what was shown in that 2008 video is actually part of the game. It was just a scripted event to hype the game. Surely you understand that a video clip of some scripted combat doesn't mean the game is ready for release, or actually far into its development cycle.
Thank you Blizzard for the Nether Tentacles and attack speed nerfs. The aim should be for every class to have a number of viable builds, not for everyone to just make a Demon Hunter.
Balance changes a month after the game release make sense. If they are still adjusting them in 12-15 months, it will be extremely frustrating.
I'm not even sure what skill to use because most of them are totally useless. Been using Chakram because there is nothing else out there. The only skills that works well are the mines where you throw out all 3 at the same time.
I don't understand what you are saying. How does nerfing NT and attack speed make other builds more viable? Nothing was stopping you from trying out non-typical builds.
Before the nerf, sure, you could try another skill, but it was clearly inferior to simply using nether tentacles. It being brought in line with the rest of the abilities means that choosing another skill does not automatically put you at a disadvantage to a DH who uses the end all be all 300%+ damage for 10 hatred.
