Well it might be cheap compared to the cookier cutter build, but it's still NOT cheap.. the only thing that irked me I guess was the misleading topic title calling it a "low budget" solution, that raised my interest and excited me. Then I read the first post where it revealed the ground-breaking concept of having high res, strength, and life on hit, as a "low budget" solution... that stuff isn't low budget at all, and while 15 million may seem cheap/low budget for some, for MOST it isn't. It's still an absurd unattainable gold amount.
where do you people get these millions of gold?>?
ive sold maybe 200k worth of items, but i dont play that often. farming a1 inferno butcher runs with group get maybe 30k per runin 30 min havent timed it yet. but still no wear near 1 mil ever on me at a time. 560k i smost ive had,
I got enough gold to pay for my set by farming, farming, farming, farming... and... farming some more just like everyone else. I have approximately 240hours played on my barb. I probably spent a week farming act 1 inferno, then spent about 2 weeks getting better and better at farming zoltun/belial in act 2 to get to where I am now.
It takes a lot of time (or luck) to make millions of gold. For example yesterday was a lucky day for me, I did maybe 5 siegebreaker runs, 3 or 4 zoltun/belial runs and got 3 million gold worth of items in the form of a rare wizard source and a pair of rare boots.
I flip items.

Just follow some of the tips here and you can slowly make some gold. It's a bit harder these days because people generally have an idea what items are worth, but if you're patient you can still find some good deals.

Interesting. I always went for a high block% shield. That's a really low one. But I can see how the defense + resists might work better. I am sure I found shields like that and vendored them simply because the block was low.
What are you talkijng about a Budget?
How can anyone not rich before obtain that kind of gold. Everything I pick up doesn't even cover the repair bill.
I have to play the AH and see if I can make some gold there.
If you don't have enough gear for act 3. It is still very viable after 1.0.3 to farm act 2.
This is what I am doing now. I would rather farm items while playing the real game rather than playing the AH buy low/sell high game.
