Hey everyone This is probably a silly question and one that is probably covered somewhere, but Ive gotten an incredible map for NM Meph, literally one tp away, but Im bored of running him atm, so Im wondering if I were to go back to running hell pits, if at a later date I could somehow recover that NM map. I see in ATMA the map seed number, so what would I have to do to go back to NM with that same character and get that same map? Thank you everyone!
The seed is not allowed for that use here. The seed is only allowed to restore a lost map after an accidental change of difficulty - ie: If you're running Pindle, and you accidently click a different difficulty. This information is in the stickies though.
Indeed map seed abuse is prohibited, see the stickies.
(Pindle isn't exactly the best example of losing a good map-- as losing a Pindle map is not the end of the world! On the other hand, a good AT, LK, WSK or Meph map can take dozens of tries before finding a great one.)
Buh - I'm an idiot XD Thanks for that purple. I previously lost some maps (Meph/LK probably) accidently while Pindling, so maybe that's why that jumped into my head first.
