Hey guys
I've been looking at this EHP (Effective Health Pool) calculator. http://rubensayshi.github.com/d3-ehp-calculator
I put in my stats:
Str: 1218
Dex: 330
Int: 255
Vit: 1145
Armor: 3345.6
All resist: 26
Dodge: 15.8
What i notice is Impunity will give me 16.31% enhanced EHP. Which is great, but Veteran's warding will give me a whooping 31.66.
This strikes me as odd, since all i'm hearing around the webs, is that Impunity is the only way to go etc. So which is it? Is the EHP wrong? Or are there other factors i'm not seeing?
Please help me out.
Wait, wait, wait
you have 26 reisst and 3000 armor?
Your resist value is far too low to make use of impunity. Until you stack resists to a reasonable value (~300?) VW will be worth far more.
(nvm on the other thing I said, something sparked my spider sense. was wrong)
Hey hey... don't diss my stats. I'm freshly dinged, not even out of Act III yet. But thanks for the heads-up. This means i can trust this EHP calculator and go with whatever it suggests.
No one was dissing, but it's just a very low stat for normal theorycrafting, if you have forgetten a 0 and it was 260, it would be much different. Since impunity is 50% of your total resists, it benefits from there being a larger pool to multiply to.
Yeah i know, i actually forgot a smiley, it was meant light hearted.
