Going back to the old times....Diablo 1

Hi everyone.

I searched around on this forum but was not able to find it, there is no Diablo 1 section in this forum? Maybe I might have missed it :S

Anyway, I decided to play this beautiful game again.

I do not want to sound arrogant, but with Diablo 2 I feel like I am quite a pro :P having played this game for a total of 11 years on and off lol.

So.....at the same time....even though I played a lot of Diablo 1, I was only a child back then and therefore all I did was play without finding out how to make a good build etc. So, does anybody have a good build? I have always played warrior, so I think I will go with sorceress this time. Is therea build guide for this? Also, what items are there? I cant really remember items in D1, all I still remember are Arkaine's Valor, Butcher Cleaver, and.....that is all :S

Also, is there a list of "the best" items in D1? I just want to Magic Find as much to get those best items

Sorry about that!

Well, I am making a sorc now in D1. I have put all points to Mana, but what should I do? still cannot find book of town portal, book of mana shield etc.

Anyone who has experience in this wanna help me?

You just have to keep going deeper and deeper. Mana shield didn't drop for me until about level 10 (until then I used a staff of mana shield) and teleport didn't drop for me until level 14.

Town portal books should drop everywhere, I got about 7 of them on my last play-through.

EDIT: Also, don't forget to check Adria!!!
