I like the link muzzz posted. The info links on there are quite nice. Giving more info can't hurt, can it.

Not trusting anything that hasn't been batted around and chewed on, like a true Kitteh
Both your links are great and complete each other, imo. Yesterday I changed a lot of passwords.
@kitteh: the method on muzzz link seems to be good, but the "faq" on the bottom of page really adds a lot to the discussion and have nice tips for passwords. Valuable info.
Also, not in the faq iirc, but it seems that you didn't mention the "secret answer" part of bnet account creation. It turns out it's important to memorize, as it's required to change the email on your account (I'm having trouble to change my email for not knowing my secret answer, btw...)
Oh no, the secret question. :( CoX brought that in (well re-activated it) last year, so you had people who hadn't needed it for seven years suddenly trying to remember what the question and answer was.
*Goes to find my crib sheet of passwords*
Hmmmm, I didn't know about that actually Baron. Would you be up for writing a little bit about it?

Well, I am...
I was trying to change my email adress on my b-net account, to use an email solely for that purpose (I recieved an email from <game publisher> saying that they servers "could" have been hacked and "maybe" the hackers could have my email adress). I created the e-mail adress in one of the services mentioned in the OP and logged in on bnet to change the account email there
They asked me my new email twice, my password and the answer of my secret question, which is... Wait! I don't have the foggiest idea of the answer of my secret question. I sent a support ticket in portuguese (since the entire site is in portuguese and they seem to have a local office here) and got an answer in english that maybe I was looking at the wrong place.
Since the email account wasn't hacked/compromised and I'm following the rest of Kitteh's guide (authenticator, decent password, etc.), I just changed passwords and I'm hoping to never need my secret answer...
Anyone had a similiar issue? (Anyone knows the secret answer/how to retrieve it?)
Edit: I re-opened the ticket, in english this time. Updates soon.

@Baron: maybe it'll help if you point them to their own FAQ?
