Act II advise for my barb

Was wondering if you guys could look at my gear and stats and maybe give me a direction to improve the survivability of my barb in Act II inferno. I appreciate your time and advice. Thanks in advance

What issues are you having? How far have you made it into Act 2?

The biggest thing I see is your Life is a bit low. Resists could be bumped a 100 to 150 but not horrible. A shield with 25%+ block is nice, also there is one higher tier shield that offers about a 1000 more block per hit. Your armor is good and life on hit is very nice.

It actully looks fairly good but your damage is looking very low. Sometimes its better to kill faster than to be more defensive. I suggest try and fit earthquake(free and less CD) and WOTB(insanity) and ignore pain with life steal and use a 2hander to blow champions up. I found this SO much fun to play. Il post my build and gear when i get a chance.

    Edit: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...1YZ!ZYc!YZbbcZ

Thats my build I have around 600 all reisst before shout and around 49k damage with full rage. I gear for attack speed and crit. (rings are crit+attack speed, cost me 100k each, amulet was about the same). From there get a good 2hander wep with high crit damage. Also try get +life steal I have around 5% and with charge I get around the same hp as I would with dreadnaught but i get to charge endlessly as long as i hit 5 ppl or more. Charge spam is great and fun, if your hp drops just pop ignore pain and keep rolling.

I see 100k crits from cleave and when you come across a champion pack you charge in and pop ignore pain and blow all your cooldowns and the champions just melt. I was thinking of making a video cause its such a fun build.

But holy cow i hate BEE'S! !!!!!!!! god they suck.

I'm having a lot of issues with molten trailing elites, fast, arcane. I'll try for a new shield, thanks liquid_mage.

I have tried 2 handed weapons, and just find I like having a shield better, though your build does look like a blast Nostalgia.

I feel it really depends on your style of play and whether you play solo or in a group, and if in a group, then what kind of group. I dont play solo, always in open games or with friends. Im in act 3 right now. Act 2 was a struggle with every elite, and a lot of times, regardless of the group, we had to skip elites, killing them was just impossible. I didn't look at your gear but I find your stats fairly comparable to mine, and I used to have TS but then I switched it to Ignore Pain (rune depends on the party); i also use berserker rage passive. With regular mobs I was doing really well with my dual-wield setup. Generally, I tend to focus on tanking so my gear revolves around all res and vit. I do around 15k dmg. I really experimented with skills in act 2 since I struggled so much, but barbs have it kinda hard with a lot of elite combos because most of the time you gott be in their face, so to speak. To conclude, its rly about the gear, I think I was really lucky since in act 2 i found amazing items which i either traded for a lot of dough (1m+) or kept for myself, and every such item (like +100 to all attributes, +80 res all bracers) make a world of difference. hope this helps a little. take care!

it really depends on the way you are playing..
but from the looks of it, you are playing more as tank.. if thats the case you need to increase your all resist a little bit more to around 550-600 without war cry-impunity

    - your life is low (i cant see from the image.. looks like 30k or 39k..) either way, you wanna increase that to around 45k-50k for act2
    - also your strength is too high and your damage too.. for act 2 damage near 12k is more than enough
    - The armor that shows in the picture, is it with the enchantress as the follower and without war cry?

My gear has changed a little bit since last posting, I have picked up a better shield, and also a Justice lantern. My life is sitting around 36k right now, AR is around 560, damage is around 14.9k, and my armor is like 9k without my war cry. I've cleared act II and have attempted act 3 but it feels like when i first started inferno with my barb, the elite's and ranged normal's are eating me alive.

When I am home from work, i'll get another ss of my gear up. What build are you act 3 guys using out there? I feel like i'm pounding my head against a wall trying to get more life as it is. All my gem slots have Amethyst, mostly star except for 2. Fun times.

Edit: 1.03 has definatly made Act 3 MUCH MUCH easier. Only problem I have is with Ghrom right now. So much gas, nowhere to stand.
