They've admitted that Inferno is overtuned and promised to fix it.
Assuming Inferno is doable without goblin farming, is there still any ground to complain?
Goblin IS overpowered. It is too safe for the amount of gear it provides and the time it takes, esp. with 4-team.
If goblin is overpowered, don't spawn the goblin there. Even if Inferno is doable without it if it's more efficient then that's what people will do.
Personally, I'd prefer that gear drop in a way that allows people to progress and I'd rather not just farm a goblin or see level 51 gear drop in Hell A3. I guess I'll (try to) kill Diablo here soon and see how Inferno shakes out at some point.
So you can boost to the end without ever doing anything risky.
The existence of this option makes it the only legitimate thing to do at endgame.
Another cries that he will lose his unfair advantage. I bought this game to play it, not spam load games for a 10% chance at goblin spawn. The fact that ^ is even profitable is broken and should be fixed.
I want you off my HC AH. Sorry, I know it makes me a prick.
Reinstate high goblin/chest spawn rates. Place game limits in full effect. Full support from me on this.
Obviously you have to pick an area within your capabilities. If you're only in Act 1, then go clear a nice area in Act 1... But way to nit pick.
I've seen this one thrown around on the official forums too... it is an empty threat to Blizzard, they already have your $60 from the game purchase. If you now decide to not play the game, they don't mind. Especially at the current stage when they are having troubles with server load, etc. You will just be 1 less complaining post to read on their forums & 10 less games to load on the server per hour.
(The real question is, why am I bothering to participate in internet arguments?... These are always complete wastes of time. I must go play the game now instead.)

This gob farmer believes he is saving me time, when in fact I still have to generate a worthwhile item to trade for his epic loots. Apples for apples. He didn't save me any time, all he did was save himself time.
Actually, there is exactly ONE way in which the existence of gob farming sped my progress:
Gem supply is through the roof, gem value on the floor because of the absurd number of gems each gob kill nets. And nobody is actually making a large collection of radiant stars, so they're worth dirt. Okay, I'll give you that. The fact that I was able to buy a fsquare ruby at level 15. This only happened because of gob farming.
If you believe that goblin and chest farming has any other impact on HC eco, you've been fooled.
You're gob farming and wish to believe that it enhances others' play
Or you've been lied to.
It makes a few people rich, so they can afford their own upgrades. It doesn't make items in general more available to everyone.
More items are up for trade. I still have to find my good drop to trade for someone else's good drop. Those of us not gob farming don't get magical endgame progress. Gob farmers trade with gob farmers and continue their endless goblin grind. Eventually, turtle their way through the next content exactly once, just to unlock the next goblin. Never do anything that risks a death. Joe schmoe actually playing the game sees no benefit past level 40 or so. Gems only.
