lol @ market inflation in hardcore. ridiculus. those speaking of this here havent reached inferno or if they did they got rushed, or cant kill any champion pack in a1 inferno. goblin farming IS necesary for act2 or just afk at 60 really and wait for inferno nerf
Apparently they removed the limit not long after it was introduced in order to take a further look at it.
Unless I dreamt that, but I'm sure I read it somewhere this morning.
I did however have a dream that my HC barbarian died!
Maybe he means "devaluation" but he wrote pretty much the exact opposite.
Being "linked" to goblins via the AH has nothing to do with seeing more action.
If someone thinks the level 60 HC gear market is saturated he can either ignore the AH or buy from the AH and throw enough gold on the ground to make himself feel good about the purchase cost.
Personally, as a fresh 60, almost all of the upgrades I see on the AH are either completely out of my price range or very, very expensive for slight upgrades. If I can stay alive, enough playing with 5 stacks of NV will probably change that but, right now, I'm pretty much locked into the gear I have.
Its idiotic they remove stuff from the game YOU might not enjoy, but others do. Wtf, I payed money to play this piece of **** game, I rather play it the way I ****ing like it. Im so tired of people telling others how to freaking play. Go find your action on Hell/Inferno what-ever, but if I like to take a piss all over mr Goblin who doesnt hit back, I will be damn sure to do so.
If you feel like farming act I hell till 60, be my guest, if you wanna play for 320493204932 hours before reaching 60 fine. But dont be so arrogant to tell others how they should play the game. I wonder if people if ran this goblin so many times as I did. My friends and I hardly get stuff to put on the AH. The few upgrades we get, go into our own toons.
If you read the Patch 1.0.3 Design Preview you will see that they are:
a) Planning to make better items drop in lower parts of Inferno (and maybe even Act 4 hell), so you can find the itamz you need for the next act while questing/running the current act.
b) Planning to Nerf Inferno Act 2, 3 & 4, so that players are able to make the transition to the next act more easily (and find better itamz)
That's all in theory of course... but it sounds like a good plan, if everything comes together.

As for the "input limit reached" update, that's easy to avoid. Make a game, run your goblin, then go clear your favorite area in the same game, pickup some gold, see if you find any sweet items from the monsters there, go see if there are any interesting items for sale at the merchants, etc. Repeat. This will increase your time spent in game and make it less likely for you to get tagged.
The fact is, this game is very, very, very young. The Diablo 2 version 1.0 that came off the CD's on day one (many years ago) is a COMPLETELY different game than the 1.13 we can play today. Some people were happy with the changes that they made to D2 others were not. The same will be the case for Diablo 3... And the Diablo 3 we will be playing next year will not be the same thing we have right now. You have to except the fact that sometimes they will make changes you agree with & sometimes they will make changes you do not agree with.
If this change helps creates server stability and helps to prevent bots and sweat shops from flooding the economy with uber items, then it's fine by me!

You are aware that clearing that favorite part of yours might be well outside your capabilities if its on Inferno? So for now, thats not a solution. Not needed either, since its not implemented on Europe servers it seems and its turned off on US alrdy.\
In theory it sounds all good and well, in practice the game is flawed on so many levels. The fact that they nerve every single thing players do to get around their so called fun ways to play the game shows this.
Youre running goblins? We gonna throw a maximum number of games on you. Running quests repeatingly, lets nerve both the exp and get maximum games on your ***. Want to find items so you can progress? You gotta be level 60 just to be able to MF decently. But hej, doing quests over and over again isnt working as intented. And please, go outside to face those random championpacks, cause bossruns isnt what we want to see! Oh btw, legendaries just suck. We randomized everything in game to a level that you might just end up with intel/dex on a barb weapon, just so you can rage a bit more, since finding legendaries is next to impossible already. Oh and that blue weapon over there is better.
What the hell were they thinking. It isnt to hard to figure out what was so freaking succesful in diablo ii.
I wonder how many people will actually be playing Diablo III in a year. Im putting more hours into Dota2 then in Diablo, since the game just fails to suck me in.
