Sorry but $250 is not a lot of money for a desired commodity no matter what it is in the Western World.
Someone who works at Wendy's 20 hours a week could easily afford to deck their characters out in $250 slot items from head to toe and they'd still have money to spend all from just a handful of Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers paychecks.
The whole "We are elite gamers" nonsense is cute but the reality is that spending 40 hours a week playing D3 compared to someone who worked 40 hours a week and bought the same items you found doesn't make you any better than the person who worked. It just means you had more time. Time investment does not = skill in finding items. A bot can invest 40 hours of game play a week as well and nobody goes around saying bots are more legit than buying items. This is because time investment in an item finding based game doesn't mean anything. You're still just as equal to the person in skill who plays three hours a day and presses "buy" but who was working 40 hours a week at Dell or IBM.
The **** you are talking about? There are people who are making 1000s euros a month and its not rare nor semi rare here in EU or in USA, or anywhere else when ti comes to it. Arent those people paying bills too?
Diablo 3 is just another hobby and people are paying thousands $ for their hobbies. Deal with it at once. All of this ..Oh 250 is so much, its insane is bull****. Good bike costs 400$ good skies 600$ good item 100$ and best item 250$(and dont even try to discuss prices i just put here, i am writing this according to my country so you can....)
I think I could purchase a weapon (others I can easily grind myself/get from AH).
I have a bid going on for semi-okish bow for 14,99 EUR and for a fist weapon for my monk. I will check how those go and let you know.
