Friendly projectiles hitting you: Fix?

Hi.~

I am planning to play some Diablo 1 with friends via Hamachi, but there's one thing that's been bugging me a little. I know that friendly projectiles can damage you, and if there are four players, things can get pretty annoying because of this. I know this is likely intended by Blizzard, but it's a mechanic that my friends and I just don't feel like playing with.

Because of this, I was wondering if there's a mod/hack out there that lets you play without getting damaged by friendly players. I saw posts about other mods in this subforum, so I'm assuming that it's allowed to request such a thing.

After extensive googling I don't think there are any mods for this.
