Weapon + source: How does it add up?

Compare, say, a 2-hander with 1,000 DPS (1.00 speed) to a one hander with 700 DPS (1.4 speed) and an offhand with 100-400 damage. Which would be better? How do they add up? Do you need more info?

Well, you don't need more info but you have to work backwards kinda. 700 dps 1.4 attacks/second 1 hand weapon = 500 damage/hit average plus 250 average damage from the source = 750 damage/hit average times 1.4 attacks per second. So 1050 dps.

One hand and mojo beats 2 hand in possible boni, but 2 hand is a cheaper way to get a decent dps.
