act 2 inferno farming - belial runs or goblin runs?

I play on a tanking build barb and I currently have the right gear to survive all of act 2 but I can't get anywhere in Act 3. That means I'm stuck farming Act 2 until 1.0.3 hopefully makes things a lot easier on melee classes in Inferno (the hotfix that dropped additional dmg from enemies in pub games definitely helps, tho).

So for a while I was doing goblin runs at the Ancient Path, but that's incredibly boring and I suspect the item levels aren't as good as they would be from other Act 2 elites/champs and Belial. However, the benefit was that I find rare items at 2-3 times the rate I find them when doing Belial runs. Again, it's just incredibly boring and it's something I felt like I was obligated to do before I was able to solo Belial because it was the most time effective method. I should also mention that without any NV stacks, I am able to hunt goblins with gear that gives me 101% mf.

Belial runs involve gathering 5 NV stacks and soloing the boss - I use ZraveX's method of clearing the Caldeum city snakes all the way until the 3 champ pack directly before Belial, saving them for when I have 4 stacks from elsewhere in the act and then I head straight for the boss. I can survive all the elites, champs, and general mobs fine (I usually hunt in the Path to the Oasis) but it takes a good long time (I'm built for tanking so my dps is only 9.9k). Belial fights take quite a while, too, as in stage 3 I chip away so slowly at his hp its a small wonder I don't hit the enrage timer. (Not sure exactly how long the fight usually takes me - I'll try to get back to you on that). Anyway, I'm sure the item levels are higher on these drops. However, my base mf is 0% with this gear because I need to survive the long fights and random affixed elites. So with full NV stacks I'm getting 75% mf in the Belial fight.

Should I continue doing Belial or stick with faster goblin runs? The goal being that I can farm gear to sell on the GAH in order to afford better gear that will get me thru act 3 (Justice Lantern, 19+ SoE, CoH with socket, Stormshield, etc. - costing about 25 million in total atm). With only 1 million gold on me atm (spent a lot on gear just to survive Belial) I have a ways to go. What do u think?

You can make over 3 millions/day with goblin runs (better if you are over 175 or 200 MF). I would do that for half a week and then head over to act 3 with some new gear to find another farming spot.
